Network Critical Physical Infrastructure
Network Critical Physical Infrastructure (NCPI) forms the very foundations of a large data centre, server room or a communications hub. Indeed, NCPI covers pretty much everything that servers, switches, routers, SAN's or blade arrays need to operate at their designed levels of performance. It is usually made up of many components from equipment racks to UPS. It covers the building, physical security, equipment power & cooling supplies, and accomodation.
