When is the deadline for registration to the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme?

The final deadline for registration was September 30th 2010.

Missing the deadline costs ?5000 and incurs an additional charge of ?500 per day, up to a maximum of ?45,000. And to add to that, there is also reputational damage from a company being listed as non-compliant.

Less than a third of the estimated 5,000 or so businesses and public sector organisations expected to be caught by the new CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) had registered by the beginning of August 2010.
